RAISER is a four piece Thrash Metal band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Not an ordinary thrash band, but thrash with extreme passion for the genre. Raiser doesn't settle for anything less than fast, aggressive, heavy and tasty riffage. Skull-crushing thrash that cuts through any mind. Playing music with no remorse and for only one shared dream; Thrash 'till the death.

It started with the lack of real old school thrash metal in the area. Jordy and Jeffrey met up with the first guitarist to play metal covers and jam around with. After that, the goal was to focus on old school thrash metal to keep the genre alive and famous for what it was; sharp, fast, heavy and aggressive. Nothing more and nothing less. Thrashing the stages as a reminder of how it once was, and how it shall be once again! Times change, people change, but thrash metal shall live on!

After the departure of Remy, they found Michiel, a versatile lefty, playing all kinds of music on his sharp, single-coiled Strat and his pitch-black ESP. His lightning-fast fingers and ear-bleeding thrash sound will blow you away. With the departure of vocalist/guitarist Vidal, they recruited guitarist Iwan. Iwan is a talented young guitarist with jaw-dropping speed and plays solid like a rock with a smashing thrash-sound that will cut through any sound-proof walls. To seal the deal, the vocals of bassplayer Jeffrey will strike you like napalm and blow you away with extreme power. All combined, Raiser is an unstoppable force of power, speed and mayhem.
